Morphology Bootcamp--June 2026, 8 weeks
Morphology—the study of prefixes, suffixes, and root words—is a powerful predictor of literacy success. Research shows that morphological awareness supports vocabulary growth, reading comprehension, and writing development. Instead of memorizing isolated definitions, students learn meaningful word patterns that help them decode unfamiliar words and make sense of complex texts independently. The result is stronger comprehension, more fluent reading, and more precise writing. Throughout the course, students will integrate their morphology learning into sentence formation activities using the Hochman Method.
